Finglas: While out walking the dog at Tolka park Finglas
watched a Sparrowhawk dive repeatedly at a couple of Mandarin
chicks in the pond. Would not surprise me if the Sparrowhawk had
already been successful over the past few days considering there
were only 2 chicks, about a week old, with the female, it's second
brood this year.BC
