I attach photo of a Brent Goose which was among a group of 2 adults and 4 juveniles, (adult ringed PZRR) which I took today at Bull Island Saltmarsh, shortly after high tide. Details have been sent to Graham.TC

I attach photo of a Brent Goose which I took today at 1.30.m. at Santa Sabina Manor, Sutton.  The goose was in a flock of about 60 geese.  They were feeding in a grassy area.  The rings read Right Leg "L lime", Left Leg "6 yellow".

Eoin McCumiskey reported a Brent Goose 9DWW to Graham McElwaine in November and the following are details of the bird in question...

Darvic:  9DWW    Right Leg: 9  White         Age: 6        
Metal                  Left Leg:   D  White         Sex: M

Date Ringed:      12/01/2006        
Ringing Site        Strangford L./Myra West

I attach photo of a Brent Goose which I took today (4th February) at about 12:10 pm. This bird was part of a small flock of about 55-60 geese. They were located on the first fairway of Sutton Golf Club. The identification reference for this bird is 49RY. There was another ringed bird present in the flock reference 32RY. I have sent this information to Graham McElwaine.BQ  We look forward to hearing what details Graham has on this bird.Editor  -  News so far on this Goose...

Bull Island: A colour-ringed Brent Goose fitted with a satellite transmitter. This individual, called Orville, was on the grassy verge just beyond the sea scouts building along the Bull Wall. It has been present for two weeks.Eugene Archer.
